Seagrove Local Helps Out in Japan Linda Gunter, owner of The Mill House at Richland Creek (a bed & breakfast in Seagrove, NC) has been in Tokyo, Japan for over a week providing relief in the wake of the devasting earthquakes. She has been temporarily working for the Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO), having worked there in the late 1980's and then again in the 90's. Gunter is familiar with the company and has been to Japan numerous times for business. Linda arrived in Japan on March 18, 2011 with the willingness to stay as long as needed. She is working in the corporate communications department helping with media relations.Gunter was recently featured in The Courier-Tribune newspaper on April 3, 2011 for her continued efforts to aid Japan.
